Rachelrose

When I was in California I took some "Senior Pictures" of my Beautiful cousin Rachelrose. She knew of a hidden place way out from the city. It was a bit of a drive, but a wonderful area with old abandoned cottages and a river running through it. The place looked like nobody had stepped foot there for 100+ years.

Woody

I need to catch up on my blogging, but first..... I have to talk about Woody. This weekend - Memorial Day Weekend - Our neighbors were up at their cabin and a little wood duck was being chased around their yard by their dogs. They saved him and walked him over to us. We have raised baby ducks before and have kept them in our back pond area. We've had 50 or so at once and feed them and they even have a little warming hut on the island of the pond with heat lamps and it protects them from the wild critters that come out at night. However, we didn't order baby ducks this year.

Little Woody must have only been a day or two old when we got him. He jumps higher than you could imagine for a little feller. He loves swimming in the sink and eating bread. He has a mansion of a box to play and sleep in. He also found a friend in our dog Leata. He loves to dig himself into her fluffy hair, and surprisingly she doesn't mind too much. I found this extremely funny because Leata is an old and grouchy dog.
